E/E Flag Football Clinic (Coed)
August 1 - 4, 2022
Morning (9am -1pm)
4 DAY FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP
Open to boys and girls at any school, entering grades 3 through 9.
New England Flag Football (NEFFL) will be running a Flag Football Clinic at EAGLES/EDGE for boys and girls entering grades 3 to 9. NEFFL coaches will cover the basic fundamentals of the game, including catching, throwing, formations, routes, and defensive skills, all of which directly translate into the tackle version of the sport. Of course, all of this will come together in fun, friendly scrimmages designed to reinforce the skills learned and developed.
Flag football is a non-contact sport, so there’s no tackling, diving, blocking, screening or fumbles allowed. Players do not wear any heavy equipment, such as helmets and shoulder pads. This creates an approachable atmosphere where kids can learn how to play and develop their skills without the aspect of physical contact.
This 4-day, 9am – 1pm clinic is designed to develop football fundamentals in a competitive and fun environment. Players of all ability levels will be challenged in a variety of traditional and progressive drills that aim to develop the individual player’s skills and understanding of the game.
