For campers entering Grades 6-8.

Exploration Camps are designed to give our campers a chance to lean in and start to deep dive into topics, while still maintaining a camp-like feel.  Campers will spend time in our computer lab, equipped with state of the art air filtration systems, but also have time outside- either in problem solving circles, or in “camp breaks” where they will have camp adventures- swim, play games, and picnic lunch.  Come experience the best that camp can offer! 

HTML is the building block of every website. If you have an appreciation for good design and have an artistic flair, this would be for you! Learn how to build dynamic, engaging and interactive websites of your choice with the understanding of the HTML framework. You’ll start from a simple web page to creating more complex multi page websites using cascading style sheets(CSS) for design and the bootstrap framework to make your website mobile friendly!

Camp Outcomes: At the end of the full camp session, your camper will have learned how to create a website and have many different custom sites to share. They will have learned a greater understanding on how other websites are structured, designed, and implemented.
